Our team bridges the worlds of health services research and practice transformation, and our mission is to develop, evaluate, and disseminate innovations in care delivery—with a special focus on the needs of vulnerable populations and those living with chronic illness.
Now in our 27th year, the MacColl Center has a more diversified portfolio than ever, and a strong core of researchers and system change experts. We are looking for a collaborative and innovative leader who will work in partnership with our scientists and staff to plan and secure MacColl’s continued success bridging the worlds of research and practice transformation.
We are part of the Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute, an internationally recognized academic research organization that conducts non-proprietary research to improve health and health care, with grants and contracts totaling over $50 million per year. The MacColl Director will be a research scientist within KPWHRI and be supported predominantly by external funding. MacColl and KPWHRI are part of Kaiser Permanente Washington, a large not-for-profit health care delivery system.
