"Staff and Clinician Work-Life Perceptions after Implementing Systems-Based Improvements to Opioid Management", published in the September 2019 Journal of the American Board of Family Medicine, is an analysis assesses the impact of implementing the Six Building Blocks program to improve primary care's management of non-cancer patients on long-term opioid therapy.  Co-authored by Michael Parchman, its focus is on the perceptions of primary care providers and staff on how this program impacted their work lives.
