Who: Anyone interested in acquiring practical skills and knowledge about how to develop the capacity of a primary care clinic to improve their quality of care. Suggested roles include: practice coaches or facilitators, quality improvement staff, medical home program managers, and consultants
What: By the conclusion of the one-day workshop, participants will be able to:
- Identify the seven high-leverage changes needed to build quality improvement capacity and improve clinical quality measures.
- Assess the quality improvement capacity of a primary care practice using the Quality Improvement Change Assessment (QICA) tool.
- Apply strategies used by experienced practice coaches/facilitators to build QI capacity within a primary care practice.
- Connect with individuals from organizations across the region who have similar aspirations and challenges.
